Sri Yantra

Sri Yantra
Tratak
Trataka is a traditional practice that is believed to help improve concentration and mental focus and to develop greater control over a wandering mind.
Among the different forms of Trataka, I would suggest the Shri Yantra as a suitable option.

How to Practise

First, print a Shri Yantra on a square sheet of approximately 1 × 1 foot (about one square foot) and place it on a wall.
Before putting it on the wall, pay special attention to one thing: the central point (bindu) of the Shri Yantra should be at approximately your eye level.
The distance between you and the Shri Yantra should be approximately 1.5–2 feet, and it should not be more than about 3 feet.
Before beginning the practice, sit in a comfortable and stable position. Keep your back straight and your body still.
Remember: while performing Trataka, do not move or fidget.
Now, look at the central point of the Shri Yantra and focus all your attention on that point.
Try to keep your gaze steady and observe the point with complete concentration.
You can begin with one or two minutes and gradually increase the duration.
With regular practice, try to reach approximately 15 minutes of Trataka practice.
You can also download a Shri Yantra image from the internet and print it for your practice.
